UX Research & Accessibility Lead - Aviva
In this talk, Brian will reflect on his journey of embedding accessibility at Aviva, transitioning from an informal role as an accessibility SME to leading a dedicated team of consultants. He will explore the challenges faced, the successes achieved, and key lessons learned in the first six months of establishing the accessibility function within the organisation.
Brian Grellmann is the UX Research & Accessibility Lead at Aviva, where he heads up a team of 10+ dedicated user researchers and accessibility consultants. He graduated from City, University of London’s Human-Computer Interaction Design programme in 2017. Since graduating, he has been part of the advisory committee for INCA and DARA, projects at City which seek to improve the experience of everyday content for people with speech and language impairments.
